Silver for dancers at Cheltenham Festival

The Junior School dance group have been awarded second place at the Cheltenham Festival of Performing Arts.
The dance group, led by specialist Dance Teacher at Rendcomb College, Sume Liebenberg, were awarded the silver prize at the Cheltenham Festival of Performing Arts on Friday, 5 May. With the first prize winners gaining 87 points, the Rendcomb College troupe were just one point behind with an overall score of 86.
The dancers have been taking advantage of the school's brand new rehearsal space in the performing arts centre, The Griffin Centre, which includes a mirrored dance studio with sprung floor and ballet barres. The new venue opened earlier this year and provides a dedicated dance space in addition to a 350-seat auditorium.
