International Pupils
We welcome applications from all over the world and we are proud of our cultural diversity which enhances the Rendcomb community. In our student body, the school currently has pupils from Thailand, Canada, China, Dubai, America, Germany, Japan, Hong Kong, Spain, Italy, Russia, Nigeria, Israel, New Zealand, South Africa, Austria, India and Columbia and the international community is ever-widening. We hold our international numbers at approximately 30% ensuring excellent integration and to ensure we offer a traditional British Boarding School experience.
Rendcomb strives to reflect the global community in which we live today and in which our students will work in the future, preparing them for their onward journey into university and careers across the world. We aim for our pupils to leave us as articulate, confident, thoughtful and resilient young adults, equipped with the essential soft skills required.

Admissions
Rendcomb accepts applications for regular boarders from Year 7 (age 11) in the Senior School through to the Sixth Form. We accept day pupils from age 3 to 18. The minimum study period is for half a term for ages 11-13 and one term for pupils aged between 14-18. This excludes the Summer term and is subject to availability.
Specific courses available to our international pupils include:
- One Year GCSE Programme
- Two Year GCSE Programme
- Two Year A Level Programme (BTEC Business Studies available. BTEC Sports available)
How to apply 
Applicants will need to provide copies of their last two school reports and grades translated into English, a copy of their passport and a hand written personal statement. For UK based international pupils, we require a reference from your current school including predicted GCSE grades if applicable.
Successful applicants are invited to register and attend an interview either at Rendcomb or via Skype. Entrance assessments can be sat remotely if required at The British Council offices, at one of our approved agents across the world or at Rendcomb. The UKiset is accepted. Successful applicants will receive a formal offer of study. To secure your place with us we will require a completed acceptance from and the acceptance deposit, £3,500 for EU pupils and £11,000 for non EU pupils. The deposit is refundable when a pupil leaves Rendcomb.
International pupils may attend a Taster Day at Rendcomb as part of the application process which, subject to availability in our boarding houses, can include an overnight stay. This is an ideal opportunity for prospective pupils to gain a true feel for life at Rendcomb.
All international pupils holding confirmed places at Rendcomb will receive their Joining Instructions in early summer so they have sufficient time to prepare for their arrival in September.
