Girls' Junior Cricket Team Yet To Be Defeated

After winning their first two tournaments, Rendcomb's Junior School Girls' Cricket Team has every reason to celebrate.
The recent change of sport has been one much welcomed and enjoyed by the girls. With their instant successes the team seems to be on a winning streak in their lead-up to next week's tournament against The Kings School.
Claire Hayden, Head of Girl's Games said: "We made the decision to switch our girls main summer sport from rounders to cricket and we have been delighted with the positive response from all the girls. So far this season we have played St. Edward’s and Berkhampstead and currently remain undefeated! The girls from Years 3 to 6 have been so enthusiastic learning the rules and technicalities of cricket and have all been so involved. Nearly every girl in the Junior School attends my cricket club which has really helped improve their batting techniques and communication between each other. We are all looking forward to our next match against The King’s School, Gloucester next week!"
