Pupil artwork displayed at National Exhibition
Budding artists from Rendcomb College Junior School showcased their artwork in a National Exhibition this term.
The childrens’ work was presented at the SATIPS 2019 National Prep School Art Exhibition at Bromsgrove School in May. The selected artwork sat among pieces from other prep schools in the Exhibition. The SATIPS Exhibition is a very prestigious event which displays work from young artists from schools across the country.
Of all the pieces displayed, Year 6 pupil Grace’s peacock painting was selected to feature on the Exhibition’s programme cover.
Year 6 pupil Jessica visited the exhibition with her family to see her work on display. Jessica’s mother said: “It was a great event, with an incredible standard of work exhibited. It was lovely to see Rendcomb represented…the exhibition definitely inspired Jessica to get her sketch pad out again!”
Junior School Art Teacher, Mrs Julia Lee-Browne, submits a number of carefully selected pieces of artwork to be displayed at the SATIPS National Prep School Art Exhibition each year.
