Rendcomb Swimmer competes in Swim England’s National Summer Meet (50m)

Lucinda Norris, one of our Year 9 pupils recently qualified in the top 20 in the country for 50m breaststroke, which meant that she took part in the National Summer Meet (50m) during the summer holidays.
It is Swim England’s biggest domestic swimming event of the year. She enjoyed the whole experience competing in her largest ever gala with 1,800 other swimmers which spanned over 5 days.
Lucinda swam her second best time of the season (35.83 seconds) but marginally missed out on the final. She is, of course delighted to be able to officially wear her Swim England Hoodie and T-shirt. Keep up the great effort, Lucinda.
