Rendcomb's Macmillan Coffee Morning raised £619.53

Rendcomb pupils, staff and parents raised an amazing total of £619.53 at their Macmillan Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Pupils, staff and parents at the College baked lots of moreish cakes and cookies to sell on Friday 27, September. The Year 5 pupils baked their own cookies to sell to their fellow students. They were very pleased to raise £63.76 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Zoe Wolton, Chair of the Parents' Association said: "The RCPA has been delighted by the huge amount of support from parents across the Junior and Senior Schools in raising funds at the Macmillan Coffee Morning . There were a record number of delicious cakes and breakfast bites on offer and the coffee and tea were a huge hit in Distinction Assembly. Big thanks to everyone who donated both cakes and money and helped make it such a success. The total amount of money raised by the Parents' Association was £222.53."
Ian Corkett, the College's Librarian, who organised the staff cake sale commented that it was: "A wonderful way to get colleagues together in a common purpose for such a brilliant cause.The Staff Common Room raised the sum of £333.24. We had our cake and ate it...and then we ate some more. ."
