Rendcomb's Young Enterprise pupils pitch business ideas to the Cirencester Chamber of Commerce

Six sixth form representatives from Rendcomb College’s Young Enterprise teams got up a little earlier than usual to attend the Cirencester Chamber of Commerce breakfast meeting at Diversitea Café in Cirencester on Thursday, 17 October.

At the breakfast meeting the pupils were able to pitch their business ideas to the room full of members and offered the members an opportunity to ask questions about their business ideas. The meeting finished with business networking, where the Rendcomb pupils found themselves very popular with the local business people. There was a lot of positive feedback from the businesses and they gave them some good ideas and opportunities to help progress their businesses further.

Mrs Hannah Ash, Head of Economics at Rendcomb College said: “I was incredibly proud of how confidently they all presented to the Chamber of Commerce and the wonderful praise they all received from the local business people in attendance. I think this experience has helped motivate them to push them forward with their businesses and the networking they did has certainly helped to build their communication skills. “
