What made you want to coach sports?
My dad was my football coach from aged 9 until 18. I really looked up to him as a coach and saw the joy on his face from coaching me and the team. Seeing this made me want to follow in his footsteps and hopefully inspire other young sportsmen and women to play and potentially coach others in the future.

What are your goals as a sports coach?
As a coach my goal is to develop players from a beginner level and give them the opportunities and skills to achieve a high level of performance in the sport they play.

A personal goal of mine is to become a performance coach and be able to train athletes to as high a level as possible.

What are your highlights as a sports coach?
Coaching on the England U19 lacrosse development pathway has been a particular highlight. Seeing the next generation of lacrosse talent and help them develop was incredibly rewarding and being recognised and given the opportunity to coach at that level was a great opportunity.

Who is your favourite sports personality and why?
Anthony Joshua

A specimen of an athlete. His desire and drive to win is what makes him the competitor and champion that he is today. To rise through the ranks at the speed he did is incredibly impressive.

While being as dominant as he had been in his sport he has maintained his humble mentality and continued to respect his competitors. He is a great representation of sportsmanship
