Private Sixth Form

Our Sixth Form offers pupils a safe and supportive environment in which their excellence is nurtured and they are encouraged to become fully-rounded individuals ready for adult life.

From helping our Sixth Form pupils choose the right A-Level subjects for their individual needs to supporting them throughout the UCAS application process, our dedicated team offers pupils the support they need to thrive.

Our Sixth Formers can choose subjects from a developing and evolving curriculum, which offers exciting and engaging new subjects for them to learn. We also encourage our students to think outside the box and expand their horizons with the Extended Project Qualification and the Gold Arts Award.

Our state-of-the-art facilities, such as our Performing Arts Centre, provide pupils space in which they can thrive and where the arts, debating, public speaking and conferences can be showcased. All of which help to enrich our pupils and encourage character development.

When it comes to making decisions for the future, pupils receive one to one support from their tutor and Head of Sixth Form. This support allows them to explore all the options available to them and enables them to make the right decision for their individual future.

For students who aspire to apply to Oxford or Cambridge, we support and encourage them throughout their journey, offering a dedicated Oxbridge Preparation Pathway. We also offer our MedVet Society to support aspiring medics, vets and pupils who are interested in related careers, such as Pharmacology, Immunology, Zoology and Healthcare sciences. To find out more about our Oxbridge Preparation Pathway and MedVet society, please click here.

All aspects of our Sixth Form life aim to help our pupils to become fully-rounded individuals ready for adult life. This includes our enrichment activities, leadership programme and outdoor education.

We are not just an educational facility but a dedicated community. What sets us apart from other independent schools is the nurturing and supportive environment that we offer our students. This is reflected in everything we offer, from our pastoral team to The Crypt and Bar - a social space for our oldest pupils to enjoy a cinema area with games consoles, comfortable sofas, a pool table and a kitchenette.
